So if I play Grand Entrance or Resurrection on a character in the winners circle, does that character come back into play with any damage it had going into the winner's circle? How does it work for defeated characters? I figured if you bring anyone back they would be fully healed but wanted to get another opinion.
Thanks

Grand Entrance U14 Event SE: 3 Replace your fighter with one of your characters in the Winner's Circle. Limit once per game. Limit one per Deck.
Resurrection R40 Event SE: 4 Switch your fighter with 1 of your characters in the Winner's Circle. Limit 1 per Deck.
So, replacing and switching are not one in the same.
When you switch, the items and techniques move with the character, and whatever damage is on the character stays with the character. So, whatever damage was on the character in the Winner's Circle, they come out with the damage they had on them, I believe.
Replacing, however, doesn't move the items or techniques with the character, and the damage from the card that is being moved gets placed on the character that is coming in. So if you play Grand Entrance on a character with 2 points of damage, regardless of what damage the character had in the Winner's Circle, that new incoming character will have 2 points of damage.
Characters don't heal when a match ends. They just get moved to the Winner's Circle faceup (if winner) or facedown (if loser).
